First off, everything we do is customized. In business and life, there is inevitable compromise, but our designs are all about you. no cookie cutters, copy-pasting, or mass production. each piece is customer-driven, professionally executed, and tailored to your specific vision.
We take great pride in bringing your vision to life. A custom piece should be a reflection of your individual style and we are here to guide you through…a process that we hope makes the work even more meaningful and allows us to all have some fun along the way.
That being said.. it does require some extra care and attention to create a work that is uniquely yours, so please read below for a quick prep guide! the information below will walk you through our unique, interactive, and client-focused design philosophy.
ThE BASICS
Concept design & Guidance
If we align on the project scope, the design process begins with a cooperative brainstorming chat in which we will put you in the driver’s seat and get to the “why” of your vision...
If you already have a clear direction, we can offer additional insight and inspiration to ensure your vision is taken to the highest level. If you’re still exploring ideas, we can walk you through some curated options, and make sure the final design fully suits you and your space. We will then provide a plan tailored to your needs, which can be renderings, mood boards, sketches, etc.
This part of the process requires a significant time investment, therefore a non-refundable $500 fee will be required for any design work. When the project goes to the shop, this fee will be deducted from your final balance.
THE BUILD
Once a design is approved, we will issue a final build quote, at which point, we will require a signed approval and a 50% deposit before beginning. The remaining 50% is due prior to delivery. The standard lead time is 12 weeks, (we often beat that high score) and we will send regular updates along the way. Transportation and delivery to your home or office will be handled on an individual basis.
Look—we know this isn’t the quickest route.
It’s not for everyone—and that’s kind of the point.
At the end of this process, you won’t just have a beautiful piece—you’ll have something you helped shape. Something with spirit and intention. Whether it’s recreating your Nonna’s dining table, translating the architectural charm of your home into a new cohesive design, or just a damn good conversation starter, it’ll be yours in every sense of the word.
Good things take time. Great things take collaboration…and we think you’ll find it’s worth every step.
